About Barry
Barry Tudor has over thirty years of experience in the Graphic Design industry. He presently runs his own consultancy company which specializes in graphic design and photography, with a wide range of clients in both the private and public sectors of Barbados.
Those thirty years of experience include six years (1994 – 2000) with GHA DDB Advertising Agency (Greg Hoyos Associates) and ten years (2000 – 2010) with Courts Barbados Ltd., Barbados’ leading furniture and retail store, in which he moved through the positions of Senior Graphic Artist to Advertising Manager.
Mr. Tudor’s ten -year sojourn with Courts Barbados Ltd. afforded him the opportunity to venture into areas beyond pure graphic designing. As part of his marketing and advertising portfolios, he played a critical coordinating role in the planning, production and rollout of the Courts Cable & Wireless Superstar Search talent show, a breakout-hit programme which ran on CBC TV8 for a number of years. Mr. Tudor’s direct involvement onset, in the areas of talent management, providing production support to Merville Lynch Production, and otherwise offering direction to ensure the integrity of the Courts brand.
Mr. Tudor further cultivated most of his media experience from anchoring the the Courts radio broadcast on VOB radio station. Over the years he has work clients such as DB Production, Barbados Employer’s confederation, ICBL, TT&T Rentals, Robertson Ward Associates, Barbados National Insurance, BIDC, The Potter Center, University of West Indies, Guardian Life Insurance, The Anglican Church, BADMC, Barbados Cooperative & Credit Union League, RBC Royal Bank and many others.
Since 2006, he has been a part-time tutor in Graphic Design for the Associate Degree & Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design at the Barbados Community College, as well as a Final Year assessment examiner for the Graphic Design degree programme.
Since 2012, he has been the Course Tutor in Adobe Photoshop at Garnet Technologies Inc. as well as the Open Campus of the University of the West Indies.
Mr. Tudor has a keen interest in community work and is presently one of the Directors on the Board of Management for Cancer Support Services, Barbados. He is also as the Church Warden at St. Thomas Parish Church.
